International Monetary Fund forecasts an Economic Growth Rate of 3.9% for Hungary in 2021

This in line with many international financial agencies predictions projecting a strong recovery for Hungary, as well as for other Central and Eastern European countries.

The IMF has also forecast strong economic rebounds in 2021 for many CEE countries, such as the Slovakian economy which is expected to bounce back with a growth rate of 6.9%; the Czech Republic predicted to grow by 5.1%; and Slovenia’s economic growth rate which expected to grow by 5.2%; while Hungary’s economic recovery is forecast to be stronger than Austria’s by the end of 2021.
